Pizza. Hike. Repeat.

My mantra of the month seems to be pizza and hiking??

It was my first time hiking in Tanzawa in Kanagawa Prefecture. And 30 minutes into the hike, we had to abort because I had been stung from behind by something. Went to A&E to get it checked out, and the doctor wasn't certain what it was but thinks it might have been a bee. They disinfected it, dabbed some cream onto it and prescribed a stick of the same cream, then sent me on my way. Eleven hours later, I've not suffered any further ill effects other than the initial soreness, phew! The sting was unprovoked, not quite sure why I was stung - from behind to boot - but I'm just glad it wasn't a tick or something like that which would have a been a lot more painful.

Next weekend, and the next, I'll be going up Mount Fuji. Yes, not once but twice!
