Atago and Nokogiri

I did a spot of hiking with another ALT this week. First time I've seen someone bring spaghetti bolognese on a hike ;) and for that matter, a riceball too, but riceballs don't seem so out of place on a mountain top.

We went to Mt. Atago 愛宕山 and Mt. Nokogiri 鋸山 in Okutama 奥多. It took us 3-4 hours to go up and back down to the station again. Mt. Nokogiri is 1109 metres high, and it was surprisingly easy... The trail isn't so well maintained though, the makeshift steps tended to be high and required some clambering up. Not that you need to know, but my thighs the next day ached like they'd never ached after a HK hike. I'd eventually like to brave the altitude of Tokyo's highest point which is Mt. Kumotori 雲取山 at 2017 metres high.

[We're going on a bear hunt!]

Received your PC, bought you a souvenir ;) reminds me of when we first swapped stuff through the Royal Mail Collector's Club, except that these ones are Japanese.
