Random Places

It was a fellow English Teach's birthday, and destinations were hastily decided on the day. It was fun, and nice to spend some social time with my colleagues. We went and had a go at the At Home Maid Cafe in Akihabara which was not the best. The maids weren't acting, or for that matter, engaging much at all, they were normal, what a disappointment. Only their maid costumes made the maids seem something out of the ordinary, and photography wasn't allowed. Well, at least I can say that I've been to a maid cafe. We went to The Hub (an English pub) afterwards for something more substantial, food wasn't the the main selling point at the maid cafe.

Food at The Hub was surprisingly decent! I haven't had fish 'n' chips in years! Wrapped in imitation newspaper too! When finished, we hopped back on the metro, and went to the Tokyo Dome for a rollercoaster ride (well, I didn't, they did, I can't even properly handle driving over hills or sailing over waves let alone a rollercoaster!). After that, we hit a Latino bar in Harajuku and relaxed before heading home.
