Situated in Tsuen Wan's oldest village, Lo Wai Village 老圍村, about 2 km away from town is Yuen Yuen Institute 圓玄學院 and right next door is the Western Monastery 西方寺.
Yuen Yuen Institute is a place dedicated to the worship of 3 different religions: Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. While the Western Monastery is more centred around Buddhism.
While every site I have read suggests getting something with wheels and a gas tank, being the person I am, I walked it. It was pretty easy to find, although I did take a route that strayed away from any sign posts. Threading my way along narrow paths, through old villages, and across clear gushing streams, I gradually made my way uphill to my target destination. It was a nice peaceful stroll, the only thing was... it was baking, over 30 degrees! I was in my hiking getup, so quite often when I walked past a bunch of opinionated people, I could hear them say "She's going hiking in this heat?!", and you know, they say something similar when it's raining too!
