Comments:
I would probably rate this one to have a difficulty of around 3 out of 5. After leaving Sha Tin KCR station, we passed through the Thousand Buddhas Monastery... pretty eery with loads of golden statues looking at you. This route offers quite a mixture of paths, from steps to rocks to roads, ascending and descending, and some 'shortcuts' if you really feel like taking a few. Great views, you're walking in complete isolated areas i.e. no shops, toilets, nothing. The only disappointing thing was that we didn't actually get to stand on the highest point, because it was off limits. The hike finished at Route Twisk where we caught the taxi back to Sha Tin and finished off with a pigeon dinner.
