New Things

Didn't really do much on Hong Kong SAR 10th Anniversary Day, except watch the fireworks at Tsim Sha Tsui, and queue for an hour at the local post office to purchase the stamps celebrating the 10th anniversary. The stamp sheetlet (as shown) is very pretty, hologramic and shows the fireworks at Victoria Harbour. "Queue for an hour", you say? "You must be mad! It's just some paper with glue on the back." Everyone else who was queuing must be mad as well, the limited edition souvenir packs were sold out within the first half an hour, anyway it's nice as a memorable keepsake.

No sooner did Mr William leave the school, now Kiyomi and Zhi Yui have left... those raises in tuition fees aren't really doing the school any favours... but having said that, I signed the contract for the coming academic year today... and so far it's good news. A slight raise in salary and holiday...!!!
