I received a Teacher's Appreciation Thank You Card today, and boy has it made my day. All those hours slaving away over lesson plans and teaching materials, and those days when my throat is raw and my voice has disappeared, have been worth it. Seeing the children develop and grow in their use and knowledge of the English language feels great and gives me confidence in the way I teach, cos I know that they are learning from me!
Next week, I will be hosting an English concert...

Ha, ha, ha, that's a funny thought... hell no, the audience would start walking out if I sang. I'm just going to act as the hostess, and the kids will be doing the singing.
Guess what... I joined a Beginner's Japanese course today, and lessons wil be starting in June!
