During Golden Week, I went to the Cinco De Mayo Festival which was taking place in Yoyogi Park. I ate some tasty Mexican chicken and a mango-flavoured snow cone; had a shot at a pinata and got nothing; joined kids in an animal petting zone; and lazed about in the park. It was a relaxing day.
Had dinner in an x-rated hospital/prison-themed restaurant called Alcatraz ER where the five of us were squished up in a tiny prison cell. I'll give the place credit for the atmosphere, and if it's your kind of thing, it's worth visiting once just for the novelty of the place, but I wouldn't really recommend the food which was overpriced and nothing special.
I spent the rest of Golden Week de-stressing. There's nothing more therapeutic than yoga and baking ;)
