Sports Day

[The Warm-Up]

Sports Days in Japan are amazing, they're such a huge event, the ones in England, if any, are nothing in comparison. This year's Sports Day was impressively well organised. I joined in the PTA's Tug-of-War against the Year 3 students, and came out of it with scrapes and bruises, but it was fun ;)

[One of the races, can't remember the name, but I can assure you that no backs were snapped, nor were there any lawsuits filed against the school. So letting kids walk around on each others' backs is okay, but sending them out of class for disrupting the lesson isn't? Even after two years, I have yet to grasp how Japanese logic works. My Western logic does not serve me very well in these circumstances.]
