During Golden Week, I went to Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka Prefecture for two days to see the Hamamatsu Festival. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We visited Hamamatsu Castle, Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments, Nakatajima Sand Dunes and Ryugashi Cavern, as well as the Kite Festival and Night Parade.

The ellusive Scarlet Pimpernel? Do you ever stop and sit down? Do not pass out with shock, letter on the way with some crude photos.
Will try and investigate Volunteering Projects in Japan later today. Not too optimistic, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

It's always nice to have a little getaway ;) Usually I'm all go, go, go when on holiday, but this must have been the slowest paced break I've ever had!
