Okay, enough of work, I had fun too. Loads of karaoke, shopping, a trip to Costco ;), giant gyoza 餃子, and Baileys coffee at an Irish pub ;)
These babies were each nearly the size of my fist! The restaurant is called Gyoza 1059 in Tachikawa. It opens Tuesday to Saturday, from 5.30pm-10pm. If you plan on eating here, there are a couple of house rules:
1) Maximum two servings (5 gyoza per serving) per person.
2) You pay for a drink whether you want one or not.
3) No doggy bags, any leftovers can't be taken away.
4) Gyoza must be ordered in one go, no second orders.
As long as you follow the rules, you won't get shouted at by the chef, and you can enjoy some massive gyoza which are decently priced ;)

Snap! I visited the Local Costco yesterday to stock up on Peppered Macherel, Pork Chops and a Lamb Shoulder Joint (on offer). As soon as I switch this off I must sort it all out for storing in the Freezer. You are not the only slave to 'Lovely Grub'. Make the most of stuffing your face as Lent is on the horizon, what are you giving up? Ignorant Collegues???
'Fraid those can't be given up so easily, I just have to try and grow a thicker skin.
There's nothing that I can really give up, since I don't really indulge in anything, but I'll be organising pancake-making and races for my students ;)
