Japanese Hotpot

[Nabe]

Had over a couple of teachers for my first ever 'nabe' (Japanese hotpot) dinner! Since I had no idea what a nabe consists of, I left all the ingredient choices to them. We had tofu, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, hakusai (Chinese leaf), some kind of salad leaf called mizuna, leeks, meatballs, belly pork strips and udon noodles cooked in a chicken soup base... and by jove it was good.

Oh right, at the time of writing, the moon is full and glowing orange. Apparently, it's a lunar eclipse where the Sun, Earth and Moon are almost in line giving the moon an orange hue.
