Making Birds

This week has been pretty uneventful. I made a paper bird (see above); I finished reading Angela's Ashes and am now reading Oliver Sacks again; I read all the activity books on my desk; I read a couple of chapters from a couple of Japanese textbooks; I have listened to 270 students, each individually, recite the alphabet; and I have held up the flashcards of b, v, m, n, c, r and l, a total of 2160 times.

Now how exciting is that? So exciting in fact, I would happily offer up my head to be shaven and bungee jump off the school roof for charity.

If you are taken up on your 'extreem' offer, can I have photos??????????

Sure, the head shaving part seems feasible, I'll keep a look out on charitable opportunities... I'm actually being half-serious here.

It's an interesting thought, how would the Japanese community respond to the a shaven-head-me?

They would worship at your feet, and provide you with even more food?????????

I doubt it! People'd probably avoid me, parents'd want me to get the hell out of their kids' school, shopkeepers would probably serve me as fast as they can before quietly asking me to get out of their shop...etc... is what I'm thinking, though I might be wrong, the Japanese never seem to do as expected.
