Preparations for Japan

Well, there's only two weeks to go before I leave dismal London (yeah, I've happy to leave, after HK, London's never the same again) to leave for the land of the rising sun. Packing-wise, I've bought a new suitcase, I've bought a cabin case, I've bought a current converter and all the other bits and pieces, but I'll haven't packed yet... I've been too lazy, I'll definitely do it soon, I promise I won't leave until the day before.

I'm still waiting for the bloody currency exchange guy to sort out my money, I've been chasing it up until the cows came home. The only reason I'm doing business with this guy is because he's not charging commission.

I've bought some prizes for my students in Japan, most were goodies I collected from HK, but I thought getting some English 'cultural' gifts might be a good impression, so I bought England football souvenirs. I'm telling you, it's real official stuff. It was a bargain, English football has become so substandard that merchandise are at an unbeatable price of 25 pence. Yes, that's HK$3 for offical FIFA World Cup England Team merchandise. It was a total steal, so I bought lots!
