Well, I was supposed to be flying home tomorrow, but with the Iceland volcanic ash, I'll be here for at least another extra day.
Been constantly checking the news and leeching my Uncle's internet, Heathrow and the rest of Europe's air travel have all grinded to a halt. With no planes leaving London, there's no planes coming into Hong Kong. I'm just glad that I can apply for assignment deferrals, and fortunately teaching practice isn't for another two weeks.
Come on, less than three months left! Quit smoking already!
EDIT:
Well, I'm out of luck. My flight has been cancelled, and when asking about the next possible flight, I was given a provisional date of 11th May 2010.
Hopefully, if Eyjafjallajökull sucks it in and doesn't make Katla cry, I'll be leaving sooner than that. I don't feel like failing at the moment. At least I'm not pressured to graduate before September, since I won't be teaching in the UK. There really is no point in waiting until the deferral deadline, I'll just hand in the goods before leaving for Japan ;) Plan B all set, smoothness not accounted for.
