[Episode 2: Part 1 out of 6]
Tsukumo Ryusuke is a quirky, yet brilliant neuroscientist working for the National Research Institute of Police Science. Wielding a unique perspective and psychology, Tsukumo tackles the nation's most baffling crimes and scandals, going head-to-head with the most brilliant and twisted criminal minds. But his eccentricities and poor social timing can also aggravate people and circumstances, further complicating matters. --TBSPretty interesting, though it definitely doesn't beat Sherlock Holmes ;) This is only the first 15 minutes of the second episode, but I thought special guest Gackt, who appears as Takegami Teijiro, played his part as a deranged murderer very well... a seriously freaky murderer.

quite interesting.... reminds me of the jap drama "suspect x".
Yulin! Just had a look at a SuspectX trailer, and it looks pretty good. I thinks it like it's both a series and a movie. Will try and get round to watching it.
You are right, it started out as a series before they have the movie. The series was shown in HK sometime last year... i think...
I didn't notice! Not surprising since I don't really watch TV, well except for news.
If you have anymore Japanese drama recommendations, do post them up on your blog.
Will do, so you liked Mr Brain then?
