With great difficulty, I'm trying to hunt for a job this Summer, or even a part-time job for an immediate start. So far I have only found 1 suitable job ad to send my CV off too, and that's only for a one week Summer position. The goal of Europe-hopping during my Summer weekends is still very much beyond arms-reach... well, perhaps not even soon, the 1-year course that I'm starting this September requires a tuition of £3,225 (currently equivalent to HK$36,667). I need a job.

good luck with job hunting. i'll be joining you in the hunt soon... :/
Good luck! For me, the job needs to happen because Japan next year is definite (if I'm well-organised and lucky).
A definate? :) After your course ends? I plan to apply for JET, so if I succeed, I'll be going out there in July/August next year too. :) If I fail, on with plan B... whatever that may be...
why so definite suddenly?
Steven, I have too things I want to do! The job(s) will definitely happen since I need to fund tuition fees and Japan and Summer. It's all becoming very definite, because I'm not getting any younger! Definitely!
LMAO, to that not getting any younger comment because I always hear you saying, you're still young but of course that was during the last time I saw you in HK. :) Btw, what will you be studying again next year? I keep forgetting... the teaching course I'm guessing??
I'm sure I'm not the only person feeling their age when they hit mid-twenties!
I'll be studying a Postgraduate Cert in Education that also recommends you to qualify for a teachers status. It will probably be the last major thing I'll ever study, though saying that many more doors will open when you retire ;)
