A 'Bright Ideas' roadshow about energy-saving, happened to be held in the centre that I was training in, so I accompanied the children to one of their children's shows. The mad scientist (pictured) was indeed eccentric, but the children loved him anyway. From what I can deduce from the show, cycling up a pair of moth-eaten underpants and some water, will call forth a 'silver spirit' which will know the answers to everything... the kids loved it!
