Hike: A circuit hike from Tung Chung to Tung Chung via Ngong Ping, Lantau Island.
Comments: The Hong Kong Observatory had their Very Hot Weather Warning in force, meaning that temperatures were soaring (easily above 30 degrees), and risk of sunstroke was high.
Unsurprisingly, not many people were hiking, but with the right precautions i.e. hat or umbrella, sunscreen lotion and plenty of water, the hot weather shouldn't be much of a problem.
After the hike, the final stop was at a Haagen Dazs ice-cream cafe! Half price with a mate!

I think you'd make a good photographer! :D
Thanks Abbe, I'm not actually very good, sometimes I take the same scenery more than once using different zooms and angles, and after that it's a process of elimination... Digital cameras! Banzai!
That's exactly it! Keep doing that and you'll be the next thing to a pro! :D After a while you'll find that you'll be taking more good pictures than bad ones which cuts down on the elimination.
Gee, thanks for the positive comments! However, I'm nowhere near as good as a pro, I know plenty of other people who take great photos.
Strangely enough, it's from observing these people's photos that has helped me improve my own photography. Before I would basically just 'aim and shoot', but now I put a little more thought into the technical and graphical side of things.
