60 kilometres from Hong Kong is another Special Administrative Region of China called Macau, formerly a Portuguese colony. The place is literally filled to the neck with casinoes, restaurants, resorts, theme parks, and anything else that will boost their tourist industry.
The weather was uncomfortably muggy today, which wasn't helped by the thick smog covering the region, so thick that even the tops of the skyscrapers couldn't be seen. Also, why did it seem that I was the only one sweating like mad in a sleeveless t-shirt, while everyone else was wearing jackets and long-sleeved tops???
PS - A pair of limited edition "Year of the Rat" white, leather All Star sneakers now belong to me! About time I got a pair anyway, me high tops are getting holey.
