Island Jumping

Gosh it was a long day today, I was literally hopping around islands. (For those of you who know the geography of Hong Kong: From Park Island (work) - Causeway Bay (meeting) - Mong Kok (dinner and interchange)- To Kwa Wan (Wing Chun)- Tsing Yi (home).)

Reason for the meeting? Well, headquarters want the English teachers to start teaching the local teachers on how to evaluate children using English ... which should be alright, except for the fact that some of the teachers' English skills are at beginners level... and we're suppose to get them to submit in reports before Easter?!... we'll see how it goes...

Another hiking trip for me this weekend: a 6km hike (2.5 of 5 difficulty) from Ngong Ping to Tung Chung, Lantau Island. I'm considering doing a 20km hike (3 of 5 difficulty) next month at Plover Cove Reservoir, one of the longest treks in HK. This ones pretty strenuous, and it's been reported that people have died on that trek during the Summer, due to dehydration... We'll see how I feel nearer the time.

Something to try: Fresh Mango Sago Drink for HK$5 (around 30 pence).
