So How Was Xmas...? (MSN)

Hey.

Hope everyone had a decent Christmas..?! Yeah, it felt weird for me for not going to the family reunion in Hemel Hempstead, something that I've been attending every Christmas for the last twenty-odd years! ....and instead I did something totally different... I went to a wetland... more on that later.

So... for Xmas, I went to Santastown in Central which had a lovely tree, and some great live entertainment, and Woe is ME!!! I didn't get to take a picture with Santa Claus!! ...I just didn't feel like queue-ing for 2 hours...
Also tried out a church service by candlelight, and I have to say, the one in Bath (UK) is so much better, and not just because they used real candles instead of plastic battery-operated ones... and what else did I do? Ah yes, on CHRISTMAS DAY, note Christmas DAY, I caught a BUS, bought breakfast at a SHOP, bought some salt-baked quail eggs and went to Hong Kong Wetland Park. The Wetland... was very well trimmed for a wetland, lots of plants and birds, nothing special. Anyway, putting the wetland aside, buses? Shops? Open on Christmas Day? That's about unheard of in the UK, I'm tellin' ya, the streets were bustling with people, shops were open, the roads were packed full of cars, and public transport was running normally?! Yeah, I got quite a shock that day, a culture shock on Christmas Day *heh*
Afterwards, went to someone's apartment, someone who lives on the 45th floor of a flat which has a total of 51 floors!!!! Then for dinner, we went to a BBQ site, with little chimney-like BBQ grills, ringed by wooden benches, all over the place. It was all you can barbecue for HK$68 (less than ₤5) per person, including charcoal and drinks!! Man, did I shove that meat on my BBQ fork and start barbecueing!! Don't think I've ever eaten so much meat in my life, gosh it was yummy.
Next day, went to a Agriculture/Nature exhibition, saw lots of plants, insects and animals!

Anyway, gotta stop talking, start work on Friday. Bye!

PS - Photos up on the blog soon. Lots of Mother Nature's nature, and yeah, those goldfish just wouldn't stop moving!
